They say you shouldn’t mix friends with business… We disagree.

The way we think of it is that we’re not working FOR you. We’re working WITH you. There’s no uncomfortable power dynamics because we’re a team and we’re all in this together. From the very beginning, we’re intentional about getting to know our clients because the best design is one that fulfills their specific wants and needs. We want to know where you feed the dog, how much you like to cook and what activities your kids are into so that we can build a home that accommodates that! We inevitably end up sharing just as much about ourselves as our clients and we all become quick friends. Also, we use cost-plus billing which is extremely transparent. You know the fees up front and we share all of our trade discounts with you, so there’s no awkward money conversations. Working with friends just means that we know you that much better and will have an easier time delivering a final product that you love.

For us, guiding our newfound friends on their renovation journey is like showing a new friend around your home town. We take pride in our process and what we can achieve and love sharing that with people. Renovation projects are stressful, so why not face the challenge with some really knowledgeable friends by your side!
